Mail order bags or otherwise known as Tamper Evident Bags can be supplied by us manufactured in LDPE, LLDPE or OPP (Low Density Polythene, Linear Low Density Polythene or Polypropylene).  They usually incorporate a bag but with one extended side (known as Lip) which has a permanent glue tape applied so when the protective cover is removed and the lip folded down the glue fastens the bag closed and the only way to gain entry to the product is to destroy the bag – hence the term “Tamper Evident”.

Another idea used with a similar design is the application of a resealable glue strip, as the name implies the bag is of a very similar design to the tamper evident bag but the resealable tape enables the bag to be opened and then re-closed. Ideal for protecting but still enabling access into the bag to inspect the product.  A major use of these bags is for shirt /T shirt packaging, invariably though we supply this in a Polypropylene material which gives fantastic optical & clarity properties but is not reliant on its strength capabilities.

To cut down on potential shoplifting and/or  to add further security & anonymity to purchased items (for example from Chemists / Adult Shops or anywhere where items are for the purchasers use only) a sealable “carrier” bag can be manufactured, obviously in an Opaque Material. The handle (or even a Perfed Euroslot if the bag is to be hung for display) would be incorporated in a sealed off Header at the top of the bag, the bag will then be bottom loaded where the glue stripped lip is and once the bag filled the protective cover is removed and the lip is sealed over stopping any further access to the product unless the bag is destroyed. A large number of department stores have now moved to this style of final packaging.
